Self Scheduling Feature
The self scheduling feature allows authorized employees to create their own schedules. The needs of the organization unit are displayed on the screen. During a predetermined time frame, employees can add activities for the profiles they have position permissions to work on the days they wish to be scheduled.

Validations are performed on the schedules to make sure employees are not violating any scheduling rules, such as overtime or overlapping schedules.

Organization units can be set up to allow certain groups of employees to self schedule before other groups. These groups can rotate access, or can always have the same hierarchy of access.

Once the self scheduling period is closed and the schedules have been published, authorized employees can trade and/or offer schedules. Supervisors must approve these requests.
